The Elmore Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1976. We are dispatched by the Elmore county Sheriff's Department. The Elmore Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects 2,500 homes and 75 businesses in an area of 30 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily rural and light commercial business area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Our well trained volunteers are from all walks of life and are committed to helping people in their time of need. In an average we respond to about 300 different calls each year.
